Vintages Litter Week 1 and 2

The Artisan Vintage by LaTierra AKA Fine Wine litter were born Sept 13, 2015. There were 2 girls and 4 boys. Here are a few shots of week 1 and 2. At 2 weeks old, most had at least 1/4 eyes open and were beginning to take a few very unsteady steps. Soon we’ll have puppy toddlers. All the puppies are placed except for a possible show male available.

Lali, GCH Artisan’s Pink Lollapalooza is in heat and will be bred to Skoda, Ch. Tivoliz Expert Witness! We are very excited about this breeding. Puppies are due to arrive early September and going home in early November. If you have sent us an application, we are reviewing them. We are still taking applications for this breeding.

 About Lali: Lali is a gold grand champion with many Best of Breed and group placements. She is known for her gorgeous conformation and stunning sidetracking movement. Her temperament is absolutely fantastic and all vizsla: sweet, affectionate and intense. Her first litter is less than a year old but Levon won a 5 point major at 9 months and Norma Jean has won BOB with limited showing. About Skoda: Skoda is a sweet-tempered, relaxed boy who loves dress-up with his young human sisters. He has produced many champions who have themselves gone on to produce champions. His beautiful conformation will compliment the lovely Lali nicely. We know we will get lovely puppies from this breeding.

Brags and Wags

The handsome Rory has been heating up on the East Coast, taking BOB twice over several very nice specials and top 10 dogs.

Mikado Litter Week 4 and 5

19 Aug

The Mikado puppies are now moved into their X-pen apartments in our dining room. They have needle teeth and so Lali is most definitely weaning them. They seem to like goat’s milk and soft puppy food mash and will also crunch a bit on kibble. The puppies like to bark, and play rough and of course bite our feet when we get into the x-pen to change the puppy pads. Most of the puppies have caught on very quickly to pooping in the litter we have set up for them. In the next few weeks they will learn to only use the bathroom in the litter.  Hooray for potty-training! On not-too-hot days we’ve been taking them out the patio to run around, sniff everything and learn about new surfaces and sounds.

Mikado Litter Week 3

The puppies have their eyes open and instead of gerbils their noses are flattening out and they’re starting to look like little dogs. Each is oh-so-cute. They are now playing, wagging tails and are curious about new noises they can hear. Soon these chunky things will be heading to the x-pen in our dining room so they can be at the center of the action.

Mikado Litter Week One

Introducing the GCH Artisan’s Pink Lollapalooza ‘Lali’ and BISS GCH HRQ’s Guess Who’s In Trouble JH OA OAJ ‘Havoc’ babies. In honor of Gilbert and Sullivan and the three pretty maids, say hello to ‘The Mikado’ litter. Magenta Girl is ‘Yum-Yum’, red girl is ‘Pitti-sing’ and purple girl is ‘Peep-Bo’. Blue boy joining the three girls is ‘Nanki-poo’. These are pictures from week one.
